Ahmad Zahid, who also serves as the Deputy Prime Minister, emphasized that the school transcends conventional political education. It's designed as a crucible to instill the spirit and essence of UMNO 's fight within the younger generation.

'We aspire to create leaders who are more than just eloquent speakers or theorists,' he stated. 'They should possess resilience, determination, and competitiveness, all while remaining steadfast in their loyalty to religion, race, and country.' Ahmad Zahid expressed confidence that this initiative is a strategic move to ensure UMNO's continued relevance and its position as the cornerstone of Malaysian national politics.Initially, 50 pioneering participants have been selected for the program at the school. The curriculum encompasses a comprehensive training module covering critical thinking, strategic leadership, and a profound understanding of UMNO's history and ideals. The modules are slated for ongoing refinement and expansion to ensure their efficacy in shaping intelligent, courageous, and confident leaders capable of shouldering the weighty responsibility of advancing the party's mission. Ahmad Zahid affirmed his belief that with dedication, discipline, and a fervent fighting spirit, the UMNO Patriotic School will serve as the bedrock for the emergence of a new generation of leaders who will elevate UMNO to even greater heights. 'The youth of today cannot merely be bystanders in the political landscape,' he asserted. 'They must rise as thinkers, strategists, and doers who can mold Malaysia's future.' Through the UMNO Patriotic School, we are providing ample opportunities for the younger generation to contribute ideas, engage in open discourse, and undergo leadership training that will enhance their capabilities as future leaders,' he added. Ahmad Zahid also commended UMNO vice-president Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, who is also the Pahang Menteri Besar, and his team for their tireless efforts in establishing the UMNO Patriotic School
