In his inaugural public address on Monday, Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said he was looking for "clean" people with "integrity" to join his cabinet. So far, Muhyiddin's coalition partners PAS and Gabungan Parti Sarawak have not publicly made demands for positions. Umno has the most number of seats on the government bench and is expected to be given a proportional number of cabinet positions.
It has been five days since Muhyiddin was sworn-in as prime minister and has not given any indication on when his cabinet will be formed.
