JOHOR BAHRU: UMNO Johor akan mengadakan konvensyen bagi memastikan isu-isu pembangunan dan kemajuan di negeri ini dapat dilaksanakan dengan jayanya.
Menurutnya, konvensyen itu akan diadakan selepas Pilihan Raya Negeri di enam negeri tidak lama lagi. “Antara perkara-perkara yang perlu kita lakukan adalah untuk terus membela kedudukan orang Melayu di negeri ini selain memastikan isu-isu pembangunan, kemajuan negeri dapat disempurnakan,” katanya selepas mempengerusikan Mesyuarat Perhubungan UMNO Johor di Ibu pejabat UMNO Johor, di sini.
“Sebagai sebuah parti yang bertanggungjawab, UMNO Johor akan memastikan langkah yang diambil selepas ini mengukuhkan lagi keberkesanan parti untuk mewakili suara dan hak orang Melayu di negeri ini.
