"There's a lot of sightings that are happening in Maine that are going unreported through official means," Slevik said."But sightings, if you look on social media, you’ll find that they are way up." Another reason why sightings could be under reported is because neither the Mutual UFO Network nor National UFO Reporting Center promotes themselves as a place to report sightings.
