Excited na ang lahat ng walong teams na magtatagisan sa UAAP Season 86 men’s basketball tournament na nakatakdang magsimula sa Setyembre 30 sa Mall of Asia Arena sa Pasay City.
Bumabandera sa listahan ang defending champion Ateneo de Manila University at runner-up University of the Philippines na paboritong magkampeon sa season na ito.
Hawak ni coach Tab Baldwin ang Blue Eagles habang si coach Goldwyn Monteverde naman ang magmamando sa Fighting Maroons na nagkampeon noong Season 84. “Given the championship experience of Ateneo and UP, La Salle laging anjan. Hopefully for us, last season sixth place, we’ll try to do our best to improve that,” wika ni head coach Jack Santiago ng UAAP Season 86 host University of the East.
