U Mobile is gradually rolling out 5G SA to its customers in phases, making it accessible to users on eligible postpaid plans and compatible devices. The telco has provided a list of 5G SA compatible devices, although it currently excludes Apple devices. Android smartphone users can explore the provided list to determine if their device supports 5G SA on U Mobile's network. It is crucial to note that for the 5G SA experience, the compatible smartphone must be running on the latest software version. Users can confirm 5G SA activation by identifying the network name as 'According to U Mobile, the 5G SA offering is currently limited to selected locations, and the company intends to expand coverage to encompass more 5G sites nationwide. Notably, the 5G SA service is provided at no additional cost, and users can continue to utilize 5G NSA and 4G connectivity in areas where 5G SA coverage is unavailable
