KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Umno’s two MPs - Datuk Bung Moktar Radin (Kinabatangan) and Datuk Mohamad Alamin (Kimanis)- are expected to stand with the party decision to withdraw support for the Prime Minister.
Senior Sabah Umno sources said that the duo have signed affidavits to support the Umno party president’s decision to withdraw support for Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
Bung, who is Sabah Umno chief, has refrained since Tuesday night to comment on the decision of the party to immediately withdraw support for Muhyiddin. The GRS coalition took over the state after defeating Warisan Plus in the state election on Sept 26 snap polls last year. “Things are still very much fluid and we are yet to know what would be the final outcome. The withdrawal of Umno support is something that is expected,” he said.
