KUALA LUMPUR: Two police reports were lodged in connection with Umno Youth chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh's speech on the controversial socks found in KK Super Mart, says Tan Sri Razarudin Husain .
The Inspector-General of Police said the case has been classified under Section 4 of the Sedition Act 1948, and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for misuse of network facilities."We have conducted an investigation on him and the investigation paper will be referred to the Attorney General's Chambers once it is completed.
"We advise the public not to raise issues related to the controversial socks as those involved have already been prosecuted. "Let the law take its course and let justice be decided by the courts," he said in a statement on Friday .In a video posted on Facebook, he is seen being whisked away by police in an SUV.In a Facebook post, he said he was arrested at Kota Kinabalu police headquarters despite being scheduled to give his statement at the Dang Wangi police headquarters in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday .
