Kuala Lumpur police have arrested two more individuals in connection with a hit-and-run incident that occurred outside an entertainment center on Jalan Klang Lama on January 29. The suspects, aged 18 and 26, were apprehended during a police operation and are currently being held for five days to assist in the investigation.

The suspects, aged 18 and 26, were arrested during an operation conducted between midnight and 2 am today throughout the federal capital. Both individuals have been remanded for five days until February 10 to facilitate the investigation. The case is being investigated under Section 307 of the Penal Code.
\Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa, the Kuala Lumpur police chief, confirmed the arrests and provided details to reporters following the Women Law Enforcement Empowerment Programme themed Beauty, Strength and Excellence MADANI 2025 at DBKL Training Institute in Cheras. Attendees included Bandar Tun Razak Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, Bukit Aman Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department director Datuk Wan Hassan Wan Ahmad, and Kuala Lumpur Mayor Datuk Seri Dr Maimunah Mohd Sharif. This latest operation brings the total number of arrests related to the incident to seven. Police are still actively seeking three additional suspects to assist in their ongoing investigation.\The initial investigation suggests that the incident originated from a dispute between the suspects and the victims while they were socializing at a nearby club. A viral video on social media captures two vehicles, a Toyota Hilux and a Toyota Vios, driving recklessly out of a parking lot and onto the road in front of the entertainment center. The vehicles collide with a group of men, injuring two individuals. In a separate development, Rusdi stated that the investigation paper concerning an anti-corruption rally held outside a prominent shopping mall on Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman on January 25 is nearing completion. The paper will soon be submitted to the Attorney General's Chambers for further action. He added that police have recorded statements from 10 individuals regarding the rally, including seven university students, one employee, and two members of a non-governmental organization
