PETALING JAYA: A woman who had been reported missing by family members two days prior was found dead in a car.

KUALA LUMPUR: Two men were detained for their social media posts that allegedly threatened Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay.

Bukit Aman CID director Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain said the suspects' social media posts contained statements that have elements of criminal intimidation."The first suspect, a 51-year-old man, was detained in Bandar Baru Bangi while the second suspect, a 27-year-old man, was detained in Bukit Mertajam, Penang," he said in a statement on Saturday .

Both cases have been classified under Section 507 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for abuse of network facilities, he said."We also advise the public to be responsible social media users, who are aware of sensitive issues especially involving public distress and the nation's security," he added.
