Two men arrested and charged as 100s protest in Dublin outside Israeli embassy

One of the men arrested is due to appear in court on Tuesday morning

The men have since been charged with alleged public order offences and one is due to appear in court this morning.

The protest gathered outside the Dail just before 6pm on Monday and continued on to the Israeli embassy on the Shelbourne Road in Ballsbridge. A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí attended a public gathering at an embassy in Dublin 4 on Monday evening, 9th October 2023. The crowd fully dispersed just before 11pm . Two males were arrested by Gardaí."
