OAKLAND — Two people were injured in a shooting Tuesday in an East Oakland neighborhood, authorities said.
Shortly before 1 p.m., police responded to reports of ShotSpotter activity in the 3200 block of 35th Avenue in the city’s Allendale neighborhood.Police did not initially share information about the victims’ exact injuries or conditions, or whether they were taken to a hospital for treatment. There was also no suspect or vehicle description released.
For information leading to the arrest of a suspect, police are offering up to $5,000 in the shooting. Anyone with information may call Oakland police’s felony assault unit at 510-238-3426 or Crime Stoppers of Oakland at 510-777-8572.
