A shooting early Monday at a house party in the University District left three people injured, two of them in critical condition, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Public Information Sgt. Jeffrey Mooney said officers responded at 12:36 a.m. to the 2000 block of North Fourth Street, where a party of an unknown size was being held at an Airbnb rental. Three men, ages 21, 22 and 22, were found shot inside. Mooney said several witnesses told police that the shots appeared to have been fired from outside the rental.
One of the two men taken from the scene in critical condition is not expected to survive his injuries, according to Mooney, who added the division's homicide unit is investigating. The third was grazed by a bullet and treated at the scene.
