Two village houses were destroyed in separate fires in Jerantut and Temerloh today. The first incident occurred at 6:26 am, involving a semi-permanent house near Kampung Damak. Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Pahang Public Relations Officer, Zulfadli Zakaria, said that the Jerantut Fire and Rescue Station received information about the incident at 6:26 am and arrived at the location about 25 minutes later. A total of 11 firefighters from Jerantut and Kuala Krau Fire and Rescue Stations, along with four volunteer firefighters from Kampung Damak, extinguished the fire.

JERANTUT : Dua buah rumah kampung hangus dalam kebakaran pada hari raya keempat di Kampung Damak, Jerantut dan Kampung Orang Asli Paya Sendayan, Temerloh hari ini.

Pegawai Perhubungan Awam Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia Pahang, Zulfadli Zakaria berkata, Balai Bomba Penyelamat Jerantut menerima maklumat kejadian pada pukul 6:26 pagi dan anggota tiba di lokasi terletak 27 kilometer, kira-kira 25 minit kemudian. “Seramai 11 orang anggota dari BBP Jerantut dan BBP Kuala Krau serta dibantu empat anggota bomba sukarela Kampung Damak, dengan tiga buah jentera telah melakukan pemadaman rumah berkenaan,” katanya di sini hari ini.

Dalam kejadian berasingan, Zulfadli berkata, sebuah rumah penduduk Orang Asli di Kampung Orang Asli Paya Sendayan, Kuala Krau terbakar pada pukul 10.15 pagi ini.
