(Reuters) - Netherlands striker Wout Weghorst has come in for sharp criticism in his own country for zealously celebrating a penalty he netted against Hungary on Saturday minutes after an opposition coach collapsed and was taken to hospital.

KOTA BHARU: Two former prisoners were charged in the Sessions Court and separate Magistrates’ Court s here on Sunday with nine counts related to a series of robberies targeting homeware and convenience stores across the state.

The offences were allegedly committed on April 9, Aug 8, Sept 22 and Sept 25, 2024, at Bandar Baru Tunjong, Jalan Hamzah, Kota Jembal and Bunut Payong. Deputy public prosecutors Ahmad Faiz Fitri Mohamad and Kamarul Hasyime Rosli appeared for the prosecution, while lawyer Hajar Sahiras Zukefli represented the accused.

Judge Zulkifli set bail at RM12,000 with one surety for each accused, ordered them to report to the nearest police station and prohibited them from harassing the victims. The case is set for mention on Dec 24.
