Both of the drivers, who were the sole occupants of the cars, died at the scene.
A Mazda-3 was travelling east on the Capricorn Highway, east of Duaringa, and a Toyota Hilux was westbound when the two cars collided.“The Mazda-3 has burst into flames as a result of the crash,” Queensland Police said. “A cattle truck that was nearby at the time of the incident received minor damage and the driver was uninjured.”
Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has information relating to the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
