TOKYO: Six people have died of heatstroke in Tokyo as Japan swelters under a rare rainy season heatwave, prompting authorities to issue a flurry of health warnings.

GEORGE TOWN: Two brothers who were hospitalised after eating crackers believed laced with rat poison in Kampung Padang Ubi, Labu Besar, Kulim in Kedah on Sunday are still unconscious and in critical condition.

Their mother, Nurain Hasnorizal, 25, said her eldest son, Muhammad Akil Syauqi, was in a more critical condition compared to his younger brother. Both of them are still in a coma. On Monday , Kulim district police chief Supt Mohd Azizul Mohd Khairi said the mother of the two brothers became aware of the incident at 11am after her children vomited and were foaming at the mouth.
