Minutes after being called to Brays Bayou near MacGregor, police received a report of another body found less than 10 miles away in Sims Bayou.

HOUSTON, Texas - Two bodies were pulled from two different bayous in southeast Houston on Tuesday.

The bodies were discovered about half an hour apart, but police say at this point, they do not believe they are connected. The body, whose identity has not been revealed, is that of a man. Houston Police said the man's body didn't have any obvious signs of trauma and it didn't look like the person had been in the water for very long.

Police said people were in their backyard when they spotted a badly decomposed body in the bayou. Investigators said they haven't been able to determined if the body is that of a man or woman.
