The Minnesota Twins will attempt to pick up their first three-game sweep since the first week of the season when they face the host Baltimore Orioles on Sunday afternoon.
Minnesota opened the 2023 campaign by taking all three games of a series against the Kansas City Royals, but it hasn't been able to earn a three-game sweep since then.
"I think this team's capable of doing a lot of great things, and we've kind of shown that this year already," Orioles outfielder Cedric Mullins said. "Four-game losing streak? I don't think it worries us too much. Come back, compete the next day." In his last effort, he started and allowed one run on three hits in three innings against the Cincinnati Reds on Monday. He was lifted following a long rain delay.
Gallo's home run was enough because Ober scattered two hits over seven innings and didn't walk a batter, and Jhoan Duran survived a jam in the ninth.
