ISTANBUL: Turkiye menolak dakwaan Presiden terpilih Amerika Syarikat , Donald Trump yang menyifatkan pemberontakan untuk menyingkirkan bekas Presiden Syria , Bashar al-Assad adalah ‘pengambilalihan tidak mesra’ oleh Ankara.“Kami tidak akan memanggilnya pengambilalihan, kerana ia akan menjadi satu kesilapan besar untuk membentangkan apa yang berlaku di Syria dalam istilah itu.
Sejak hari-hari awal pemberontakan anti-Assad yang meletus pada 2011, Türkiye dilihat sebagai penyokong utama pembangkang kepada pemerintahannya. “Saya fikir itu adalah perkara terakhir yang kita mahu lihat kerana kami mengambil pengajaran besar daripada apa yang berlaku di rantau ini, malah budaya penguasaan itu sendiri telah memusnahkan wilayah kami.
Dalam pada itu, Fidan turut memberi amaran kepada pemerintah baharu Syria untuk menangani isu pasukan Kurdish di negara itu yang disifatkan Ankara sebagai pengganas.
