President Donald Trump on Wednesday bashed his former lawyer, who is testifying publicly before Congress later in the morning, while in Hanoi for his summit with North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong Un.
“Michael Cohen was one of many lawyers who represented me ,” Trump tweeted after spending much of his morning in meetings with Vietnamese officials. “He had other clients also. He was just disbarred by the State Supreme Court for lying & fraud. He did bad things unrelated to Trump. He is lying in order to reduce his prison time. Using Crooked’s lawyer!”Trump is expected to have dinner with Kim on Wednesday, and will have bilateral meetings with him on Thursday.
