The two men could hardly be more different — at least on the surface.
Mr. Kennedy is cut from American political royalty, born famous. His patrician, retiring style and quavering immodulated voice belie the urgency of his arguments against the modern political establishment that has destroyed his family’s beloved Democratic Party. As different as Messrs. Kennedy and Trump are, they occupy similar positions in this historic political moment. Both men are treated with the same level of terror and vitriol from the media and the establishments of their respective parties.
