Former President Donald Trump has not been notified about whether charges will be filed against him by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for his alleged role in facilitating a 2016 hush money…
Trump declared on social media over the weekend that he would be arrested on Tuesday., Bragg’s office would call Trump’s lawyers to inform them of the grand jury’s decision, and negotiations would immediately begin for the former president’s surrender.
It is believed that Bragg is considering slapping Trump with charges related to the falsifying of business records, or bookkeeping fraud, over the $130,000 in hush money allegedly paid to Daniels by Trump’s former fixer Michael Cohen to cover up an alleged 2006 affair between the real estate mogul and the porn star.
Sources told The Post that Trump hasn’t been notified about whether he will be charged by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg.Trump may also be hit with campaign finance related charges because of the alleged hush money payment. The former president could face up to four years in prison if convicted of the reported “low-level felony’’ charges Bragg is believed to be considering bringing.
