Nine soldiers have been killed in a military accident in the United States, after two Black Hawk helicopters crashed during a routine training mission.
The crash happened at about 10pm on Wednesday, local time, in Trigg County during a planned training exercise.
The crew were members of the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade based at the Fort Campbell army installation. "Our number one priority is caring for the families and the soldiers within our combat aviation brigade," he said in a statement on Thursday, confirming all soldiers had died in the crash."Our thoughts and prayers are with these families and soldiers during this difficult time."
