The trough of a low pressure area will prevail over Visayas and Mindanao, PAGASA said Saturday.
Eastern Visayas, the Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the trough of the LPA, with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains, according to PAGASA's 24-hour weather forecast.
Batanes and the Babuyan Islands will have partly cloudy to, at times, cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but with no significant impact. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the trough of LPA and localized thunderstorms, with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds are forecast for extreme Northern Luzon, accompanied by moderate to rough coastal waters. The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds along with slight to moderate coastal waters.Sherylin Untalan/VBL, GMA Integrated News
