The temperature at DFW International Airport peaked at 101 degrees about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the National Weather Service’s office in Fort Worth.

A cold front is expected to pass through North Texas on Sunday, lowering temperatures throughout the week and bringing a chance of thunderstorms.
