Rocky, a police K-9, passed away after being diagnosed with a serious illness, Guilderland Police Department in upstate New York said.
On 11/16/19 at 9:57 AM ESTTributes have been paid to an upstate New York police department after a 10-year veteran of its force died.
"So hard saying goodbye to these amazing dogs that forever change a community," Eric McCollum said."Thank you for your service Rocky." The dog was frequently taken to schools and children's organizations to teach them about how dogs are used in law enforcement."We went on a field trip with my son's preschool on Friday and my daughter, two years old, has not stopped taking about Rocky!!" she said."She's obsessed and keeps asking to go visit."
