Tribute to Malaysia: Fashion and beauty brands show their love for the country

A restaurant in North Bridge Road with ties to a Malaysian conglomerate embroiled in an alleged child abuse case in Malaysia has denied having direct involvement with the investigations.

In conjunction with Malaysia Day , fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands are introducing capsule collections and standalone products to celebrate.Two local fashion names, Ms Read and Frankitas, have teamed up to celebrate Malaysia Day with a 12-piece collection which is a synergy of distinct design aesthetics and a tapestry of cultural pride.

Handmade bath product brand Wunderbath is collaborating with Mr Dollar on an exclusive Kopitiam-inspired collection.First launched at Mr DIY’s “Bersama Satu” bazaar during Merdeka Day, the Wunderbath x Mr Dollar collaboration introduces fun and quirky bath treats that are vegan, cruelty-free and sensitive-skin friendly as well as affordably priced.

With fresh designs showcasing the vibrant essence of Malaysia’s diverse landscape, this year’s iteration incorporates unique elements from each of Malaysia’s 14 states and federal territories. The Batik range draws inspiration from the sensuous Parang Rusak and distinctive bunga kantan motifs commonly found in batik fabric.
