Trial of 7 charged with disrespecting Negaraku to begin in February

The seven individuals, part of the Sarawak for Sarawakians pressure group, refusing to stand up when the Negaraku was played during an event on Sept 27, 2019.

The seven are Leong Shaow Tung, 43; Kon Tai Keong, 37; Bong Sak Sin, 44; Andrew Chong, 33; Phang Ngin Pen, 64; Tan Kok Chiang and Kui Ping Ping, both aged 46.
