Former state Sen. Tony Navarrete is on trial for allegations of sexual conduct with a minor. The politician had represented the West Phoenix area in the Legislature.who had represented the West Phoenix area until shortly after his arrest in 2021, appeared before a jury in court this week to face allegations that he had abused boys over the course of multiple years.
A key piece of evidence prosecutors have built their case around is a confrontation call between Navarrete and an alleged victim where the defendant allegedly did not deny what had occurred between the two of them.
