The 43-year-old Bay Area classic adds another new restaurant.
Blondie's Pizza, known for serving generous slices of pepperoni pizza to hungry UC Berkeley students, is expanding. This week, the pizza“We have customers that travel all the way from the South Bay to our locations in Berkeley and San Francisco," said Blondie's owner Abdul Zaloukh in an email to SFGATE."To make things easier for them, we decided to open a store closer to them at the lovely Westfield Oakridge Mall.
Blondie's first opened on Berkeley's Telegraph Avenue in 1980, and current owner Zaloukh took over in 2016. After a temporary name change to Abe's Pizza, Zaloukh reverted the restaurant's name
