Travis Kelce has reportedly made a vow to Taylor Swift's family to be her protector, with a source telling Mirror Online that the NFL ace is seen as a 'built-in bodyguard'.
A confidant spilled the beans to the Daily Mail : "Taylor's family and everyone who knows her is so relieved by her relationship with Travis not only because she is madly in love but also because he makes her security personnel job much easier. No one will try to come close to her when she is holding hands with her powerhouse boyfriend."
Travis expressed: "I feel like whenever I'm on a date, I'm always having the sense that I'm a man in the situation. I'm protective, yeah, for sure. You always have to have that feeling or self-awareness, I guess." The lovebirds made their relationship public at a Kansas City Chiefs game last season, where Swift was spotted in the stands alongside Kelce's mother. The pop star showed her dedication by attending 13 NFL games during the 2023 season, even taking a 13-hour flight from Tokyo to pause her tour and watch Kelce win the Super Bowl.
