N.Y., Conn. and N.J. to impose 14-day quarantine on visitors from certain states
New York, New Jersey and Connecticut will impose a quarantine on travelers visiting the tri-state region from other states with high infection rates, their governors told reporters on Wednesday.
Travelers coming from any state where the infection rate is 10 per 100,000 or 10% of the population on a seven-day rolling average will have to self-quarantine for 14 days to prevent potential spread. As of Wednesday, such states included places like Alabama, North and South Carolina, Arizona, Washington, Texas, Utah and Arkansas. --by Beckie Strum
