Osaka was the top trending destination for Singapore travellers, according to a report.
SINGAPORE – Japanese low-cost carrier Peach Aviation is set to start plying the Singapore-Osaka route on Dec 5. The airline is a joint venture between All Nippon Airways Group , First Eastern Aviation Holdings and Innovation Network Corporation of Japan .
The launch of Peach Aviation’s new route is expected to revitalise tourism in Osaka ahead of the World Expo 2025 hosted by Osaka from April to October next year, which expects to receive around 28.2 million visitors. For flights departing from Oct 27, Peach Aviation will revamp its current fare types to offer three new categories: minimum, standard and standard plus, which differ based on various perks including seat selection and baggage allowance. All fare types allow for two carry-on bags, weighing up to 7kg in total.
