The NRL’s decision to use performers from the ‘Tina, the Tina Turner Musical’ for its pre-match entertainment at the Grand Final has been roasted by fans.
Broncos great Wendell Sailor slammed the choice of pre-match entertainment despite his love of Turner's music.

Picture: Matt King/Getty Images "The NRL knew they couldn’t compete with KISS but good on them for honouring an icon to the game. I remember the weekend she passed and they blasted her music all day and held a moment silence for her," one fan posted on X.Earlier in the year Turner died aged 83 after a long battle with illness and the NRL honoured the “Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll” by playing her famous songs at games that weekend.
