Brandeis senior Jadelyn Malesich and Brennan's Armando Acevedo earned multiple gold medals in their district meets.
The senior cleared 7 feet, 0 inches to win the high jump at the District 29-6A championships. It’s the second-best clearance in Texas this season.
Acevedo also won the triple jump with a mark of 43-5 ½ and teamed with Devin Gills, Donovan Bernal and CJ McBride for a win in the 800-meter relay .The senior set a District 28-6A meet record for a fully automated time in the 800 run . She also won the 3,200 run in 11:26.81. Malesich also took third in the 1600 run .
