Touch 'n Go has launched a new promotion for its eWallet Visa Card, offering a cashback reward for overseas spending. The campaign is running from 1 July 2024 until 31 December 2024, with the company offering up to 2% in cashback, making it an advantageous card to use when travelling within this period.
The 2% Touch 'n Go cashback promo only applies to in-store payments using a POS terminal. For international online payments, you can still get a cashback for these transaction, but they are limited to 1%. The cashback will be credited to your eWallet account after each eligible transaction.Not all overseas spending is eligible for the cashback promo.
TnG's Visa Card currently has a RM15 application fee and an RM8 annual fee. For ATM cash withdrawals, the platform charges RM1.40 for domestic withdrawals and RM10 for cross-border withdrawals. If you plan on spending using QR codes with TnG eWallet instead, keep in mind that it now charges a 1% conversion fee for each overseas QR payment.
