Former Labor Senator Stephen Conroy says it was a “total disgrace” for ‘Yes’ supporters to heckle ‘No’ campaigners at an event in South Australia. Mr Conroy said if the protestors are truly committed to the ‘Yes’ campaign they should go out and join marches and rallies. “How about you get on the phone, how about you go door knocking,” he told Sky News Australia. “Some of those people supporting ‘Yes’ case are their own worst enemies. “This sort of behaviour just illustrates it completely.”
