The move would make sense for the MCU Spider-Man, as Holland's most recent turn as the hero came in 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home — a multiversal event that saw him team up with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's versions of Spider-Man.

After Spider-Man: No Way Home teased Miles Morales, speculation began on how the MCU might be planning to introduce its own version of Miles.
