SEREMBAN: Former Negeri Sembilan menteri besar Mohamad Hasan today refuted claims that he had launched a housing project meant for second generation Felda settlers a few days before the May 9 polls in order to woo voters.
“But if I am appointed the menteri besar once more, I will see to it that the project is completed,” Mohamad, better known as Tok Mat, told a press conference. Yesterday, Urban Wellbeing, Housing, Local Government and New Villages Committee chairman Teo Kok Seong accused Mohamad of attempting to garner support from Felda settlers by promising to build 242 single-storey terrace homes for them.
