The Rantau assemblyman last night said Warisan was only trying to confuse the Sabah people in order to gain their votes by saying they are not part of Pakatan Harapan .
"They are playing 'wayang kulit'. They said 'oh, Warisan is not PH' and tried to disassociate itself because PH performance is worst... They are fake people," he told reporters after giving a talk for the Barisan Nasional campaign at Kampung Brunei near Bongawan, here. At the Christmas and New Year celebrations here yesterday, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said the people should stop supporting a peninsula-based party that aspires to become the “master” of Sabahans.Deputy chief minister and United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Murut Organisation president Datuk Seri Dr Wilfred Madius Tangau meanwhile said the local community should worry about the Umno-Pas collaboration and not Sabah Temporary Pass .
Umno supreme council member Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan said the Warisan-led state government cannot separate themselves from PH’s failure at the federal level, as there are Warisan representatives in the federal cabinet.
