A toddler from Moreton Bay has died after he was hit by a car in his family’s driveway.

The toddler suffered critical head injuries in the accident which occurred at a George St, Deception Bay residence, north of Brisbane at about 10am.

Grandmother of the boy, Carolyn Glenn told The Courier Mail his parents went with paramedics to Redcliffe Hospital.“You see this stuff happen to other families, I can’t believe it’s happened to us.” A toddler has died after being hit by a car in the driveway of a home in George Street, Deception Bay. The infant’s aunt was also shattered by the incident, revealing the boy was approaching his first birthday.Flowers and a stuffed lion were placed on the driveway.
