Despite a 7-3 win against TNB Thunderbolts, TNB coach Nor Saiful Zaini Nasiruddin is not satisfied with his players' performance, citing their lack of fitness due to recent national squad training.

TNB coach Nor Saiful Zaini Nasiruddin is not satisfied with his players' performance despite a convincing 7-3 victory over TNB Thunderbolts in the Malaysian Hockey League (MHL) match yesterday. Saiful said that although they managed to defeat their opponent by a large margin, the former national junior team coach did not see the victory as usual for his players.

“The players showed a positive performance compared to the first match (against Terengganu Hockey Team) but I am not satisfied because the players could not give the performance as expected. “This is because almost all national players in this team are not fully fit. “This is because they have just undergone fitness training with the national squad, so their physical condition is not suitable to compete in the match because their movement is not sharp and they experience minor injuries,” he told Utusan Malaysia. The competition at the National Hockey Stadium Bukit Jalil saw TNB Thunderbolts ahead as early as the first minute through Fahmi Khalid before getting two more goals from Nabil Irfan Mohd Yusof in the 21st minute and Atif Aqil Zubir in the 52nd minute. TNB bounced back with a goal from Amirul Hamizan Azahar in the eighth minute, Jang Jong Hyun in the 23rd minute, Nursyahmi Zulkifli in the 53rd minute and four goals from Azrai Aizad Abu Kamal in the 12th, 57th, 58th and 59th minutes. TNB is scheduled to face the Chinese club, Liaoning Hockey Team tomorrow at the same venue.- UTUSA
