TM, a key player in Malaysia's digital infrastructure, faces challenges in growing its revenue despite commendable cost control efforts, according to analysts. MIDF Research highlighted TM's improved cost-to-revenue ratio in 3Q24 at 80.5%, down from 82.7% in 3Q23, mainly due to declines in direct costs, manpower, and depreciation and amortisation. However, TM still faces pressure to improve revenue, especially for unifi and TM Global.
