Telekom Malaysia (TM) acknowledges a cable theft incident in Penang involving their contractors and employees. 242 rods of telecommunication cables valued at RM100,000 were stolen. Eight men allegedly working with TM were arrested and several vehicles with TM logos were seized. TM assures full cooperation with authorities and emphasizes zero tolerance for misconduct.
