KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia Bhd has announced the appointment of Imri Mokhtar as its new managing director and group CEO, effective Aug 1.

Imri was TM’s acting GCEO from November 2018 to June 2019. Prior to Imri’s appointment as COO, he was the executive vice-president of Unifi. TM chairman Mohd Bakke Salleh said together with the leadership bench, Imri will be at the helm to navigate TM through the current challenges and position TM on a more resilient, competitive and sustainable footing.
