President Bola Tinubu has approved the commencement of the 2024 National Honours Awards, which will celebrate Nigerians and friends
of Nigeria for their contributions to national development.
Jisalo revealed that the federal government is committed to honouring Nigerians who have excelled in their fields. The minister emphasised that the nomination process is free of charge and warned the public to avoid paying for the honour. He added that the National Honours Awards Act of 2004 governs the process, which took retrospective effect from 1963.
