Tinder reveals new 'Matchmaker' function
Tinder is now letting the people in your life — including your parents — play cupid for you with a special new feature.
Now, the world’s most popular dating app is allowing you to get that feedback sooner rather than later with the launch of Tinder Matchmaker, which lets a user’s friends and family access Tinder to recommend profiles for them. “For years, singles have asked their friends to help find their next match on Tinder, and now we’re making that so easy with Tinder Matchmaker,” Melissa Hobley, Chief Marketing Officer at Tinder, said in a. “Tinder Matchmaker brings your circle of trust into your dating journey and helps you see the possibilities you might be overlooking from the perspective of those closest to you.”
“Handing your phone over to the friend group was the original vibe check,” Leray said. “Obviously you want your friends to like whoever you’re crushing on, and Tinder Matchmaker is a fun way to get the bestie seal of approval even before the match.”The new feature will help you figure out if a potential match passes the “friend test” — and if they’ll get your parents’ approval.
