Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has hailed the “strong and vibrant friendship” between Australia and Timor-Leste.
Timor-Leste’s Prime Minister Taur Matan Ruak has met with Mr Albanese and joins parliamentary Question Time.
“Today with this visit, the Prime Minister and I reaffirmed the bond between our nations and our commitment to deepening it further,” Mr Albanese said. “We’ve discussed defence and economic cooperation, labour mobility and our joint commitment to security and prosperity of the region.”
