On Instagram, Smith posted a photo of ultrasound images of her pregnancy, with the caption "When two becomes three.""I am feeling overwhelmed with the amount of love I am receiving from people around the world," Smith told"I am still overwhelmed with the amount of people who have watched and are watching, the amount of messages I receive and hearing the stories told by people around the world," she continued.
Smith went on to explain how she went through a lengthy audition process until the production ultimately chose her to play the sun. Her father was an instrumental part of shaping her performance, as she said that "While recording my dad held a teddy bear behind the camera to get me to laugh, and rolled a toy racing car to get me to look down at the camera, it obviously worked."
